REFUND POLICY

  1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

‘services’ includes appointments for legal services or other facilities offered by Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd.

‘we’ or ‘us’ means Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd.

‘website’ means the following owned and operated by Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd: www.brydens.com.au

  1. General

2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to any purchase of services from Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd through the website.

2.2 These Terms and Conditions may be amended periodically, and you will be deemed to have accepted any amendments if you use the website after those amendments have been posted.

  1. Contract and price

3.1 All prices displayed on the website are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST, unless otherwise indicated.

3.2 Description of services and prices may be subject to change or correction at any time. Although we seek to ensure information is correct, we make no representation or warranty as to information being accurate or complete. If we discover an error (e.g. services are displayed for the wrong price), we will try to notify you as soon as possible and allow you to cancel your appointment and obtain a refund if desired. You may be required to provide your credit card details to us for the purpose of issuing a credit to your credit card account in the amount of any cancelled order.

3.3 By booking an appointment or paying for an outstanding invoice via the website you warrant that:

  • you are capable of entering into a legally binding contract with Brydens Lawyers,
  • you are authorised and able to make payment via the method you have chosen, , and
  • the payment information you have provided is correct.

3.4 Unless you are paying for an outstanding invoice, your payment for an appointment is only a booking fee and does not give rise to a solicitor/client relationship between yourself and Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd.

  1. Payment method

Payment can be made with valid credit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard) or by cheque. Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd will deduct all amounts owing at the time of processing yourpayment. If we are unable to deduct from your credit card the total amount owing to us in one transaction, we may process any number of transactions on your credit card until the total amount owed to us is paid. In the case of a cheque payment for an outstanding invoice, you must also provide us with details of the invoice.

  1. Refund/cancellation policy

5.1 If you are unable to attend your meeting, unable to reschedule or no longer require your appointment, we will refund your booking fee in full within 2 business days, providing you contact us prior to your scheduled appointment.

5.2 Any refund will be made using your original payment method or another method at our discretion.

5.3 To claim a refund, exchange, credit or for further information please send an email to finance@brydens.com.au.

5.4 Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd intends to accept appointments and other services as advertised but reserves the right to change  the delivery of the initial consultation, whether face-to-face or through videoconferencing, without notice. In the event of a cancellation, Brydens Lawyers Pty Ltd will provide a refund.

  1. Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
