The only person employed by a Commonwealth Government agency has rights to workers compensation under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. Those claims are commonly referred to as “Comcare Claims”. Additionally, a number of other employers insure their employees under the Federal Workers Compensation system. Such employees include Telstra, Australia Post, Commonwealth Bank, Linfox.

WHAT ARE YOU
ABLE TO CLAIM?
Under the Comcare Scheme an injured person is entitled to claim weekly compensation which lasts until retirement age and medical treatment expenses and permanent impairment compensation.
